Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Wedges ‘N Woods Golf Academy
The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Cambridge, Ontario and around the world has raised concerns for everyone in these trying times. Wedges ‘N Woods values the well-being of our staff and customers. We want you to know that your health & safety will remain our top priority as this situation continues to evolve.
Wedges ‘N Woods is following the lead of public health authorities and doing our part to limit the spread of the virus.
Here are the steps we are taking:
- Once we open for 2020, limiting our hours of operation to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
- Cancelling large group functions until it is safe to host these groups
- Closing our plinko game following a round of miniature golf
- Cleaning rental clubs, mini golf clubs and golf balls after every use
- Requiring our employees to stay home if they feel unwell or if they have been in contact with anyone that is exhibiting flu-like symptoms
- Increased cleanliness of our facilities especially in high traffic areas like the cash register, POS pin pad and our washrooms
- Posting notices throughout our facility for customers and employees to stay home if they feel unwell and to use caution and practice best hygiene methods to prevent the spread of the virus
As the golf season approaches, Wedges ‘N Woods will continue to monitor the recommendations of government and health officials as well as industry best practices and pass along relevant information and updates as necessary.
